Device ID Memory

Not connected. Set MIDI: DEVICE ID on the pedal to match, and wire both directions if you want to read memories back.

Not the EVH document. This speaks model ID 01 05 01; the EVH is 01 05 00 and would be ignored.
The physical DDL1/DDL2 footswitches don't broadcast MIDI — reported from testing. They toggle the live sound and LEDs but don't rewrite the temporary buffer, so Read only ever sees the underlying patch, never a footswitch override in progress. Use the on-screen DDL1/DDL2 Switch dropdowns (Quick page, or Effect offsets 0x04 and 0x1D) to bake an on/off state into a saved patch.
Delay times are tenths of a millisecond, so 1500.0 ms is stored as 15000 — and values above 30000 are note divisions instead, which the Note selector next to each time control sets.
